Dexter started smiling this week. It is so cute and just makes us all melt when he does it. Me and the kids will sit and say "Hi Dexter" over and over until he cracks even the littlest grin. The kids especially are having fun with it and Cooper gets so excited when he is awake and even if he is crying he starts yelling "He's smiling mom, he's smiling". Having him give me smiles has made all his crying a little more bearable, and makes me feel more of a connection to him. He is getting better all the time and the Dr. says just to hold on and promises he will be over the colic by four months.. only 2 more to go.

awwwwwww those smiles make it all so much better... i totally know what you mean about the connection. emmy first smiled at 8 weeks old after her RSV and i finally felt a bond...
