Cooper and Dad playing hockey with the neighbours
" hockey fighting" as Cooper calls it!
Madi posing for the Camera
Cute kids, now if only I could get one of all three of them when Dexter isn't crying.
Trying on their summer clothes for Disneyland

The kids had such a good week, we babysat a 2 boys for spring break and they all got a long so well. In some ways it would be nice to babysit and have someone for the kids to play with. We kept busy by going to the dollar theatre, ymca, ikea, telus world of science, chapters story time etc. The kids were exhausted every night and so was I but it was fun and a nice way to earn a little extra spending money at DISNEY!! The kids tried on their summer clothes last week and got them selves all excited (well I got the most excited I think)

Yeah for Dexter

ha, ha I can't help but laugh at time one... he's just so cute!!
This one looks just like daddy as a baby!!

Wow, I am no good at this blogger thing! I was faithful for a while but now it has been almost a full month since my last post. We have had a fun and eventful month. The best part I think is we are finally getting some anwers about Dexter. It actually was a neat expirence, how we finally got the results but maybe I should save that for another time. The short of it is he has a reflux problem and has been in a lot of pain these past few months - poor little guy!!!- but he is now on medication and I hope this makes the differance. He is such a brave little guy and is starting to be a little happier as he gets older, he smiles and I think last night I got him laughing a little. These are some cute and funny pics of him, he looks so much like an old man.....in a cute way of course!!!

Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADISON! Wow I can hardly believe Madi is five, she has grown up so fast. It is a happy and sad feeling. I am excited for her to grow up and for her to experience new things but I also want to keep her my baby forever! Madison has such a fun and vibrant personality. Someone once said "she's like a little boy at an all girl party, she just gets everyone so excited" I'm going to take that as a compliment! She is always planning something and does everything with enthusiasm. She is such a good, sweet little girl!
Yesterday was Dexters shots so I went out to start the car, I locked the door to the van and kept the automatic locking device with me so I could lock the front door and then get into the van again. So I ran in to get the boys and locked the door behind me (by hand) only to realize (as I'm sure you have all guessed) that I had locked the keys in the house. Grrr. I called Cam at work.. no answer, called his cell... no answer, called mother and father in law... no answer, phoned my friend Kristi... busy, try each of these number again at least once, cell phone dies, walk to the neighbours... no answer, starting to panic a little, it's freezing out and no really close place to go, go to the next house phew she's home, but not to glad to see us. She lets us in and lets me use her phone ... by now we have missed the shots, Dexter is going to need to eat soon .. bottles are locked in the van.. and Madi needs to be picked up in 20 min from school. Try everyone again still no answer and still busy. Neighbour lady is now saying "I think you should just call AMA and have them come"..with a please leave tone to her voice. Finally get a hold of Kristi and she rushes to come and get me (wakes up her three boys from naps I'm sure) but I get a hold of my mother in law who has a key while she is on her way! SORRY KRISTI! Mother in law comes and opens the door but I can't find the keys anywhere in the house.... yep there they are ..... in my shirt pocket!!! You've got to be kidding me!

Galaxy Land

Last week Cam and My Family came up for Dexters blessing (will write about this at another time) and we all got passes for Galaxyland and had a great time riding the rides saturday evening. Madi and her cousin Sydney had so much fun and so much energy. They went from one ride to the next as fast as they could and laughed and screamed the entire time. Coop of course loved the cars and motorbikes. Cam had just as much fun as the kids and screamed just as loud! I can't wait for Disneyland! They are going to have so much fun!

Time Out

This is our new time out chair, and trust me the kids don't make the same mistake twice!! LOL hopefully you know I'm just kidding!

First Smiles

Dexter started smiling this week. It is so cute and just makes us all melt when he does it. Me and the kids will sit and say "Hi Dexter" over and over until he cracks even the littlest grin. The kids especially are having fun with it and Cooper gets so excited when he is awake and even if he is crying he starts yelling "He's smiling mom, he's smiling". Having him give me smiles has made all his crying a little more bearable, and makes me feel more of a connection to him. He is getting better all the time and the Dr. says just to hold on and promises he will be over the colic by four months.. only 2 more to go.
