Tonight at Family Home Evening we made a little go-cart for the kids. It was so fun and I think the kids will be playing with it for a while. We already had quite a few melt downs with it tonight.

We had a fun day going to costco with my mom and dad. We are getting stuff ready for Dexter's blessing on sunday. The kids love spending time with both sets of grandparents, and I'm so glad they both live fairly close. I don't know what I would do without both of them they help so much!

Here is a few more pics of the kids...
I know there is so many pics and not much else, but I love showing the kids off. They're just so cute!!

Is privacy really THAT important?

So I had a lady come and quote us for blinds last night and after getting the price I have a good question - Is privacy really that important? I mean really, is it that big of a deal if your neighbours can look out their windows and see what your family is eating for dinner, or if the whole street can look inside your living room and see you running downstairs in your underwear to grab some clothes from the dryer. Really what are the chances that someone would look inside at that exact moment? I cannot believe the price of blinds, I was expecting a certain amount but his quote was thousands of dollars more. Yes, thousands. Maybe I am not current with the prices, and I will be getting a few more quotes but still...wow.

On a happier note yesterday was a great valentines day. I got to help at Madi's playschool and as parent helper. They had a big party and it was fun to see Madi interact with the other kids. The best part was how excited she was to have me come to school with her and show me everything. It sure makes me thankful that I can stay at home and have the ability to volunteer at the school and am not trapped at work.

* dexter really is a cute baby, cam says the picture I posted of him at the begining makes him look like Jaba the hut.

I think he looks a little cuter in this one.

first BLOG

Wow, I'm a Blogger! After much pressure from an unnamed source (thanks tasha) I am now officially a blogger. Although my posts will be nowhere near as exciting as hers are, it should be fun to share the in's and outs of our little existence.

We had a fun day today, Dexter was crabby as ever this morning but by the afternoon he had settled a little bit so I decided to venture out and get some sanity time out of the house. After playschool we went to the YMCA to the play park with a friend. It was nice to go to the Y again. It was a huge part of my life after Cooper was born and saved me from going crazy. Although having a good friend to meet three times a week helped a lot - I still miss you Holly. I would like to start playing squash again and working out, but I just can't seem to get the motivation or dedication I need to do it. Anybody wanna motivate me?

So this was fun. I'll try and keep you somewhat entertained, Although now I feel pressure to have a more exciting life so I can write something on here

Here's a few pics of the kids just for fun.
